The Crucifix Versus the Empty Tomb
J.I. Packer: The pathos of the crucifix obscures the glory of Christ for it hides the fact of his deity, his victory on the cross in his present kingdom. And then he goes on to say images, mislead men. They convey false ideas about God. Well, I'm glad women aren't included in that. It's hard to mislead a woman. My charger. Women however, are headstrong and very difficult to lead one way or the other. That'd be a great little sentence to them.
