Is Iterative Design Thinking a Good Idea?

Twitter needs to do more analysis before releasing new features, says John Defterios. The social network is not doing basic design thinking methods like research and validation when it comes to a feature change or update of the site's blue tick system. This could lead to unintended consequences that don't even get seen by Twitter users until they're too late for them to be fixed.
