Is There a Need for Ugliness in My Paintings?
Paintings are a mixture of personal collage pieces as well as vintage collage pieces that have some resonence to me or my life. I've made this really large panel that i'm worked i've just about finished, i think that is five feet by two feet. It looks a bit like those suit cases when you would er, people would goon travelling in the twenties,. and they'd get stickers from everywhere on labels. The suit case gets really gets this patternat of age. And that's what it reminds me of what i want it to look like. People have told me that it feels like new york. Quite few people have said it feels like New York now
