Tina Turner has passed away aged 83. She'd had a long illness and died in Switzerland where she'd been living for many years. Initially, she rose to fame as part of the duo, I can Tina Turner in the 70s. Turned out that was an abusive relationship; left it and then launched a solo career,. which was just epic, really took off in the 80s.
