The Importance of the Normal
In 1978, Iowa passed a regulation that was called multicultural non sexist education. Every teacher who wanted to be certified to teach had to take the class every year. It was basically a class teaching values clarification and situational ethics. There's been a concept creep of what social justice means now than it meant several years ago. We're damaging people's vision of what the world is, you know, and it's exactly right.
