The Use of the Word Vague Goals

The term vague has negative connotations and the evidence is showing that us that there are really positive effects of non-specific goals or what some research have referred to as vague goals so I think that's also reflective of where the goal setting paradigm has been. The dominance of the notion that goal should be specific by definition therefore discourages the use ofnon-specific goals. For a long timeNon-specific goals have been inferior and you know textbooks will literally say that they should be discouraged because they're not as effective as specific goals.
