The Fall of the Liberty Torch

A terrorist incident on American soil by Germans. caused the torch to be closed to visitors forever. You can actually see from up there, there's drone footage now. The Statue of Liberty began to turn inevitably, as she is standing in the elements. She was never shiny, copper in America. So it's not necessarily a bad thing. There is an experiment I used to do with Jett when he was a little boy with pennies and vinegar that'll turn him green. But it really works better if you have a penny older than 1983 because pennies were 95% copper up till then. And now they're only 5% copper.
