Write Scripts, Is It Always in Typewriter Mode?

If i am working on the script, i always want it in typewriter mode. The arrow keys are moving this river of text up and down but the curser is staying in the same place. That behavior is completely infuriating for a document that may be full of just notes and factual information about the thing that you are writing. So i had this for this situation where i'm like, ge, i really like obsitian. I want to try writing aactual scrip in it,.
