The Study of the Bible and the Study of Judaism

As people have different ideas about the Bible, they splinter and create new sets. And it becomes a test of who you belong with in your theology or how you read the Bible. I've often wondered if Martin Luther or John Calvin could have survived in a fundamentalist American church in the 20th century. They would not have been comfortable in that kind of a setting.
