Most critics can't write good plays or comedies, and most of them can't direct. And yet they are put in judgment over people who can. There's a certain kind of know-how that performance have that I think critics don't understand at all. Critics very frequently, for example, reward or praise acting that's easy,. So, why do the people who are critical always seem to be in a superior position?
