Is Discord a Means of Communication?

In the beginning it was great, because i worked from home, anyway. And then it's not great. It's been a year and i haven't, i haven't seen anybody. I'm isolated, frustrated and bored. Wev we've started using a discord as a means of communication to try and encourage more of an open dialogue. But over all, yet it's been really hard on a lot of people, t company a mental health wives, just being marooned in their own home.
