I trust the peer review process I trust the scientific method. We should be questioning these sorts of things question everything tested but the hubris comes into the interpretation of, okay, like you said we found a genetic individual here and it's way over here. It must be the same one it must be sharing or okay we know that this radioactive isotope showed up here when we put it in the soil and it also showed up here it's gotta be sharing the trees are definitely doing that. So it is an example of where after we published our paper a number of even other scientists have said, oh I'm really sad now because I like that story.
