Most military experts were expecting tanks to roll down the streets of Kiev imminently. The Russians seemed to be offensive again, but again they didn't get as far as they might. What's obvious is that it's easier to be on the defensive than it is to be onThe offensive. But effectively we can expect this grinding process to go on for the next little bit or if there isn't some form of armistice and a negotiation settlement.
