The Overdraft on a Debit Card
A credit card isn't going to cause a whole lot of trouble unless it lasts 175 puts you over your limit, which I doubt is really going to be an issue debit cards. On the other hand, these people are screwed because if you've got $100 in your account and you go to fill your tank and you think to yourself, well, that will leave me with $10. It leaves you with an overdraft and the overdraft fees are confiscatory. And this is what's going to happen all over the place.
