The NDAA Support for Taiwan in the Defense Modernization Program

Taiwan Enhanced Resilience Act will authorize $2 billion in annual military aid over five years. 15% of that money could be used to procure weapons domestically, meaning they could use 15% of the money to buy Taiwanese made arms. Only Israel is allowed to do that with a portion of their foreign military financing. The bill also includes 100 million dollars each year to create what they call a regional contingency stockpile for Taiwan.
