Japan and the Quad
The quad goes back to two thousand and four when the indian ocean sunami was a huge humanitarian challenge for the beachan and australia. It's waxed and waned over time. There's been interest and then waning interest. But i will say for japan, which is the nation i know best, the quad is always appealed for two reasons. And second, it has at its core a very not only a vast geographical area but also an economic onactivity that they feel ought to be the focal point of developing the region going forward.
