The Effects of Consonants on Vowel Shapes
In addition to a P and M or any other lavial sound is also going to have that same like rise and drop. Whistled registers that preserve consonants will have specific consonant target frequency bands which are usually outside of the vowel range. You get different classes of high consonants depending on how sharp you make that rise in order to aim at a lower or higher target.
