i agree with just about everything that both patrick and helen said. The big mistake we cut hamds when people confuse control with causation. Aa, determinism is just not the issue. What we have to learn is how can protect the autonomy that i have from those agents. And it's all as agents who want to control me. As helen says, ere worth wanting. It's a real threat facing us right now. Our autonomy has been a outstanding up to now. But new techniques, not so much of of tampering with people’s brains, but tampering with their minds,. which are their brains.
