Jay Jonas was devastated when he found out. He said it was like losing a family member. Harris never got to see that interview air. She died of a heart attack the night it was broadcast. The firefighters of latter six started calling around looking for donations. They wanted to scrape something together to put their friend to rest. A funeral home owner heard about latter six's story in the New York Times and wanted to pay for Harris's funeral.
