She Was a Survivor, Not Manipulative

She was that kind of woman that we don't really have a picture of. Sot of commonsensical, really steady, not histrionic, not manipulative. Think her great downfall was that she wasn't manipulative. She was very straightforward and trusting. And she was a survivor. So ovstmost terrible sort of tragedies and upheavals in her life, was her character one of great strength then? I think so.
