Sales raps would go door to door in new york, showing off great games. Retailers just had no interest in vid games. Eventually enough retailers agreed to take a gamble on nintendo and they stopped the n e s for the 19 85 christmas season. As a result, nNintendo was able to sell 50 thousand n e s consols during the first christmas season in 19 85. But more importantly, n Nintendo proved to the world that the video game industry hadn't used up all its lives just yet.
