Jenny Carling has been preaching from the book of ruth for 20 years. She says she is not at all organized and uses high lighters to highlight certain things. When preparing her talks, she prints out the passage in a more literal translation than other translations that people will use. "I don't want to come with any preconceived ideas about how god will bless me," she says.
