The Advantages and Disadvantages of a Graduate Degree in Neuroscience
I'm not convinced that they should necessarily start in neuroscience versus get a broader science knowledge, maybe some engineering, other tools. There is a place for a lot of different kinds of backgrounds in neuroscience. It's a little harder to come from the humanities but I don't think it's out of the question. My goal is to expose my listeners to a lots of different perspectives on this question of consciousness and when it comes to emotions it's hard to not include them.
