"Black Hawk Down" follows two soldiers as they fight a new kind of enemy in Iraq. The pair are left with lifelong back injuries from jumping down a 30 foot wall. They use their weapons, which were empty except for one bullet piece, to bluff and hijack a civilian car. "If they could have just done one thing differently, grab those cantines," says author John McWhorter.
