How to Choose the Right Exercise for You
I think from a hypertrophy perspective that we want to create decent amount of tension and try to train muscle groups at longer muscle lengths. I like to see my bodybuilders do both seated and lying, because in the lying position, your sartorius is gonna be at a longer muscle length. And maybe we even consider, you know, doing partials in the length in position with more and more data that comes out. But I think, yeah, that's basically how I layer those those things in as I evaluate exercises within those categories based upon how efficient are they at stimulating the muscles that we're trying to train with them.
