My parents are of what's called t e coptic background, meaning the're of the indigenous christian inhabitants. So i grew up speaking arabic and then refined those philological skills with training at the graduate level in greek. I also studied for a time at georgetown university, a catholic university, but it allowed me to really dulve deep into the history. And nhat has been the most eye opening revelation about what i call the long war between the west and the islamic world.
