Bruce Deutsch: The problem of AGI is a tractable problem that could happen in our lifetimes. If we get the right thinking and we understand the problem well enough, it will turn out to probably be a very simple problem to solve. We're in an area where our knowledge is so small that any guess you make is going to be very unknowledgeable. That may be the only way that we can try to program AGIs. Maybe you can only do it through calling it. And should we, then becomes a separate ethical question?
