Tommy got arrested in 1968 to 10 years later for dealing, 14 years later, got arrested for dealing, spent five years in prison and then was murdered in 1979. Charlotte Coleman opened the front of her bar herself with no employees, noon till closed seven days a week. The working-class men would stop by and get a drink on their way home from work. And they were all buds. This part's so heartwarming,. They never disparagingly, like they weren't harassing them, but they called the lesbians the fruit. So the lesbians called them the vegetables.
