The Blood Race - Is There a Certain Magic System?
i wrote it that way because that's what felt natural to me as the writer. And then if there's like a certain magic system or whatever, let it be displayed as you go. In the blood race, that's sort of unfolded through ion's own powers and his inability to understand why he has them. How are they puzzled over it? That's ok for the reader to be puzzled with them. They're learning with the character. It's much better than feeling either impho dumped, or like the character knows wegh more than they do, and none of its being told at all. Which is the place where we meet lucy in the beginning. She knows nothing
