The Death of God

The lament for the death of god is as old as man himself. God might be dead in the sense of christian cosmology, but our human impulse to orient our lives around meaning is not dead. But what happens when science becomes our theocracy? Our religion, our superstition? What happens when we wage holy wars in the name of science? Or what happens when politics become our theocrat?
