Is the Universe Computational All the Way Down?
Physicists had believed for a long time that, well, thee's touring machines. And i think in the 19 eighties, i pushed pretty hardo to understand that there was said of this computational view of things. It's only very recently, with our project to find a fundamental theory of physics, that i'm now absolutely convinced thati the universe is computational all the way down and equivalent to a touring machine so to speak.
