The Role of Vision in Consciousness
Consciousness is the ability to think and be aware of my surroundings. We figured out more or less where vision is happening, how we can see certain colors and which areas are involved. But for consciousness we have a lot more work to do. It seems to be one of the biological questions out there which will work on I think for many more centuries. So why do we feel consciousness evolved? What is the advantage of being conscious?
