The Role of Competition in New Zealand Sport
I call it this, uh, belligerent optimism that you will find a way that will figure it out. Confidence is a belief in your principles and your, and your methods. And that's what you've got to have. I think one of the competitive advantages we have in New Zealand is that we are small and that two degree, everybody knows everybody. As a coach, I'm relatively well connected with other coaches in New Zealand. So I can reach out for help regardless of whether it's golf or rugby or tennis or whatever it is. Did you have that support around you? Some really good people at that time. Yeah.
