Nathaniel Tells the Truth
Philip and Nathaniel were taught that one day a Savior would be sent to rescue them. They expected the Savior to be more like the kings they knew. This is why Nathaniel scoffs at the thought of their Savior coming from Nazareth. Jesus saw Nathaniel coming toward him, He said, Here is truly a person of Israel. There is nothing false in him.
