Pharma would like to have drugs that can cure depression but don't make people hallucinate. And patients might, and the system would love it because the system is used to it. I'm skeptical of it for a few reasons. It doesn't look like an individual lying on a sofa, crying their eyes out about, you know, the life that they've lived. That deep catharsis being life transforming is very different from that model.
