If You Will, It's Got an Apologies Nature to It

It basically means that you're asking for the person to accept your use of a term. It's got an apologetic nature to it, I think. But don't overuse it if you will, or you will sound obnoxious. This is generally used by people who are quite articulate and sophisticated.
