How to Measure Artery Pressure Responsiveness
A lot of pathologic disease states will give a specific arterial pressure tracing. For example, the bispherians pulse associated with aortic regurgitation. This is becoming more and more of a popular approach to trying to determine things like fluid responsiveness. Having an arterial line allows one to try and dynamically measure fluid responsiveness.
