Is There Enough Support for PCN's?
Do you think there's enough support out there for PCN's and in particular, like clinical directors doing this job of running the actual networks? Well, it's interesting when I look at PCN's, always time in the very fortunate position of getting to work with lots of different PCN's. In many PCN's what they have done is sort of recognised that it is an impossible job for a clinical director to do on their own. But if you have a well-developed infrastructure with the CD leading and enabling from the top rather than doing the doing that maybe they had to do four years ago, when this was all starting out, then I think it is doable.
