The Divine Council in the Hebrew Bible
There is a divine council and there are two theories on how it's organized. According to Mark Smith, the idea of the patriarchal household has been taken into account. Another theory is that it's patterned after the ancient Southwest Asian bureaucracy. And I think the most explicit representation of the divine council is what we see in Psalm 82.
