Jeffries: Some people think that this is just a term for the bureaucracy. I remember John McAfee explained the deep state at one point. He said, look, 70% of the rules that you have to abide by are dictated to you by people you did not elect. Jeffries: It's an unelected, monolithic thing and it probably would be akin to what people call the Illuminati or something.
