The Power of Attention

People often denigrate celebrities that they feel like aren't talented. I think you make a really thoughtful point, which is that there is something very often that these people are really good at. On the flip side, I can also be somewhat sympathetic with the skeptics because sometimes that attention is drawn in a negative way where it feels like this person is actually making the world worse by drawing attention.
