You All Were Dead and Now You Are All One in Christ
St. Paul's letter to Ephesians chapter two is kind of St. Paul's summarizing this process of moving from death to life. He says in verse three, among these, we all once lived in the passions of our flesh following the desires of body and mind. But God, who is rich in mercy out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
