The Validity of a Mass
Patrick's wife teaches at a Jesuit high school. He says he doesn't know if the mass is legitimate anymore. Patrick: The valid matter would be wheat unleavened wheat bread with nothing added to it can't be a potato chip, peanut butter cookie or anything of that stuff just has to be an unleavened bread wafer and then grape wine. It could be illicit in some of the things that are done that would go against the rubrics and the laws of the church but that wouldn't affect the validity of the mass.
