What Was Your Experience With Face Recognition?
The first day that the paper came out and the twitter thread came out, i was at the annual meeting of the midwestern psychological association here in chicago. I had gotten enthusiasm and excitement about it from all kinds of people. But a few days later, the back lash started to accrue. It is no surprise that it would get some kind of back lash from the general public who don't have necessarily the training or the access to be able to go get the paper. We put safeguards in place for all those misuses, as we discuss as well in our long form response - which we can talk about shortly.
