The Depressive Nihilism of Nietzsche
There's simply no objective value meaning, purpose, and anything. On this view. There is another view that I don't think we want to talk about, but this is sometimes called ontological or person nihilism. And it's going to play out in a lot of ways in terms of persons, so we can probably get into that later. But in some ways, it's always helpful to understand a view's history and how it's situated in the flow of ideas.And I think nihilism is really just enlightenment philosophy in the full bloom.
