The Lord Blessed Me and My Congregation in the Word of God
Sir Ryan: I remember clinging to the Lord through the book of First Peter at that time. It was a great solace to my soul. The heavenly orientation, the verticality of the book, the sheer God-centered, age-to-come-centered quality of the book was very orienting and stabilizing when I think the church and country were trying to find their bearing.
