In sound that data driven approaches automatically were the first thing everyone to do. They use recordings of reality, you know maybe you modify this recording of a bear and play it backwards and make it sound larger than life. Those will give you high quality sounds. I mean realism is not necessarily a goal there like if I shoot a laser blaster I don't know what that doesn't even exist right? So this should be plausible but it should be larger than life in a lot of scenarios. That really does make sense because then as you said it moves from being a post production thing to something that's done during the production. It's a huge difference in the workflow of the people making either the game
