Meditation Training Helps With Difficult Emotions

The same fight is going on inside of you, and really, every human being. And so the granson thinks about this and then asks grandfather, will which wolf's going to win? And the elder replies, whichever one you feed. So there are two basic ways that our meditation training helps us with difficult emotions. It's to intentionally cultivate wholesome emotions. That's the first domain of training. The other is to bring mindfulness and compassion to the more primitive emotions.
