In tansanea, over a third of girls are married before the age of 18. Almost 70 % of children aged 14 to 17 in the country aren't enrolled in secondary education. In a culture that doesn't highly value women, school is a really low priority for them. It's considered much more useful for a girl to be managing the home than travelling the often long distances to go to school.
