The Power of John's Gospel
Every chapter of John is a portrait, really, of who Jesus is. In fact, John kind of looks at Jesus as a ballroom light that turns in the middle of a ballroom. The one verse that really caps it all off for me is John 10: "I and my father are one" E.E. cummings says he's reminded of Pope John Paul II when he did Lexio Divina on each month of his pontificate.
